Temporary path closure – Mounts Bay Road, west of the Old Swan Brewery

The City of Perth will commence work on the replacement of the failing river wall west of the Old Swan Brewery in mid September 2009.  Due to the proximity of the existing path to the river wall it will be necessary to construct a temporary path which will run parallel to the Mounts Bay Road.

Path users should take care when travelling through the area for the duration of the works which are not expected to be completed before 31 March 2010.

A plan showing the proposed route of the temporary path can be viewed here (pdf 480kb).
