I purchased a pair of Shimano Fingerless cycling gloves size XL, new with tags, from eBay seller bmx_mtb_shop for $24.98 delivered in June 2008. Retail on gloves as per pricing sticker is $25.95.
They are a nice fitting glove, with a smooth feel. I do find the palms are well padded; I would suggest a bit on the thick size.
I would describe them as a basic fingerless glove, they have no finger pulls or other user friendly features.
I will update this posting once I have some usage of them.
Field Use Summary – September 5, 2008
I have been using these gloves intermittently since June 2008. The only reason for the intermittent use has been the cold, and hence my winter gloves have been preferred. That said, I have found them comfortable to wear, and they are wearing okay.
I would not hesitate to purchase another pair at this point in time.
