Felt Bicycles’ Australia distributor, Southcott Pty Ltd, have issued a recall for all Felt 2009 model year B16 and S32 TT bicycles as the steerer may crack and fail causing the stem to come loose potentially resulting in loss of steering control. That is there is a possibility of the fork cracking at the top of the fork steerer, where the stem clamps onto the steerer.
If you have one of these bikes you should return it to the Felt Bicycles dealer where you purchased the product from and have the bike inspected and the faulty part replaced free of charge or alternatively you can contact Southcott Pty Ltd on 03 9580 7388 or 1800 805 024.
