I've had several encounters with buses being driven by Transperth drivers that are less than courteous and sometimes plain illegal. I suspect nobody wants to drive a bus and the company has resorted to hiring anybody who will take the job regardless of their ability, education and social skills. I expect Transperth drivers to be model road users so this sort of behavior is particularly obvious. Given that Transperth buses are highly visible and very large road user vehicles why don't they make the effort to show other how to drive with politeness, legal correctness and concern for those that are more vulnerable on the roads? It must be understood by the reader that this observation by no means applies to all Transperth bus drivers, there are few that damage the reputation of the entire organisation.

G'day Dumb cyclists

Interesting comment and I agree with you 100%. However I think you need to go and re-read what I wrote.

You see, funny as it may sound, I was travelling straight ahead on the road; the bus turned right across me. So you see dumb cyclists, I wasn't in the wrong, the bus driver was and you know what else dumb cyclists? Bus drivers have to give way as well. You know obey the law and actually drive with consideration for other people.

Ahh well, I hope you learnt a little something today.
