How is it that I rode 400 km on Saturday without crashing into anything? Admittedly I wasn't on the drops for much of the time.....

This household is formulating a letter for Councillor Bradley (honourable??) specifically designed to try and avoid the 'standard letter with variations' that he has used in reply to the various letters from avid cyclists on Australian Cycling Forums.

I'm tipping that RB must be being pressured by someone who is extremely influential, probably very wealthy and who has had a relative or family member injured by a cyclist, either that or it's just the obvious....he's 1 roo short in the top paddock. Just as well because we all know that roos don't watch out where they are going.

I see a warning label coming, afixed to the "top" of the handle bar, so you can't miss it, with instructions forbidding

covering the label with grip tape! A good read and constant reminder not to look at or read while riding! But you may

need to 'watch your back" with officials like that.

As a former resident of the Town of Cambridge for many years, this councillor is nothing but a real life equivalent of an Internet Troll.

Let's not forget the woman cyclist who was killed on Jersey Street due to bad planning by the Town of Cambridge after narrowing the road to make it more dangerous for cyclists.

This councillor wants cyclists to ride on the path when it is illegal, yet he doesn't want them on the road either.

How this guy got elected is beyond me. I ride a drop bar bicycle too, but no longer within the Town of Cambridge.

Due to strong headwinds today I spent a significant amount of time on the drops because it is a more efficient riding position. I can report that my visibility was not impaired in any way while in the 'bent forward' position.

Perhaps I am particularly gifted?
