There is a great news story in last week’s issue of the Post (January 2, 2010, page 6) about Frans Buissink. Five years ago Frans was a 120 kg 40 year old IT consultant …. Today he is a father of two and 45 kg lighter and a silver medallist at the 2009 World Masters Games in the 19 km individual road race in the 45-49 age category!
This is a really great good news story and well worth a read in my view. The Post only provides a PDF of the full newspaper which changes each week, so I have uploaded this issue here. Just go to page six for the story.
Well done to Bonnie Christian for the article.
