		<description>Hi Nicole

I suspect the answer is no, as the Trail passes through National Parks. I suggest contacting the Department of Conservation and Environment Tracks and Trails unit for further advice.

		<description>Hi Bill,

I trust your training for the Cape to Cape is going well. My suggestion apart from putting in the miles (uphill, downhill and along the beach) would be to get your pack weight down. I almost gave up my attempts at walking untill I met a guy (an old bloke like yourself!) at Walpole a few years back who told me all about light weight backpacking. It changed my outlook completely! I suggest you google it!
Anyway, your post caught my eye because of your mention of the Augusta-Busselton Heritage trail. I am new to the area, and after I finished the Cape to Cape a few weeks ago I have been trying to find some information on the A-B Heritage Trail but no one seems to know anything about it and the maps don&#039;t seem to be available anymore. I would be interested to know if you or anyone else reading this post still has a map or trail description.?

Cheers

		<description>Hi Bill

I suggest you contact the Bunbury Bushwalking Club to see if walking with them would be helpful. Also there is lots of helpful people on the Aushiker Yahoo! group. You can find it at http://au.groups.yahoo.com/group/aushiker/.

All the best

<description>I am an old bloke (wrong side of 70) a bit keen to do some bushwalking. Have done some in the past.I think I am reasonably fit, though realize I would have to build up to it. I live in Busselton and am thinking of the Cape to Cape walk. I have done the Busselton Heritage walk to Augusta.
I am looking for tips, info on training etc and on suitable necessary gear. Can you help?

Regards

		<description>Hi Aushiker,

I&#039;ve been looking at your site for a while now and have picked up some interesting and useful info. so thought I&#039;d say thanks and keep up the good work.

It&#039;s nice to find some accurate and relevant info for WA. on the Webb. I spent some time over new years hiking the southern half of the Cape to Cape track and I did this without my usual in depth planning, no guide book and a fairly average map. I relied mainly on your notes and they were more than adequate for the tricky sections of the route.

Thanks again, Gary</description>
