Gee whiz it was in February when I visited and the card was discussed! Are you serious with your comments? Can you remember every conversation you had in February? Some how I don't think so. Mate you need to chill out me thinks.

As to your other comments:

(1) I didn't assume they would remember me and never said I did. I said no mention of the card was made as I did make small purchases and no mention of the loyalty program was made nor was I asked if I was a member. Either would have jolted my memory (as did coming back to this post recently) and had that happened I would have mentioned that I thought I had applied etc.
(2) Assuming the card was issued, it has been sitting there at the store since February. It would not be hard to either phone or just drop it in the mail to me and for that matter to others who have not collected their cards after a reasonable period. Now that is customer service. Hell I do it here at work ... don't take much.

If that is not acceptable to you so be it, I am happy with my comments and they stand. Readers can form their own judgements.

Regards

As far as you can recall? That's not factual, that's a recollection of what may have occurred.

Did you ask for the card when you were in the store or did you assume they would remember you based on your first visit and that you completed the form? I think it is fair to assume a number of people fill out the application for the Loyalty Program and never walk back into the store again.

It is so easy to post negative comments on the net that aren't really warrented yet we rarely, me included, go to the effort of acknowledging outstanding effort, price, service etc.

I'm not saying BFF is the best LBS of all time; but they do look after me well. I am saying your comments seem unfair and I'd like you to walk in, say "Hi" and ask if your Loyalty Program Card is available. Then report back....

Hi ironmandreamer. Good to hear you received your card and you are enjoying the discount. As far as I can recall I was told the card would be posted out, but then it was some months ago. Yes I have been back to the store since February, including a visit looking at a possible new bike and no mention of the card was made.

So in my view my comments are factual (i.e., I haven't received my card) and as to my "loyalty" comment; I have no issues with it. If I ever receive my card from Bike Force then I will happily updated the posting; until then readers can form their own opinions.

I recieved my Loyalty Card, no problems, and have taken advantage of the 15% discount now on a number of occassions. For many items deducting the 15% makes on-line purchases plus postage not worth the effort. My card was behind the counter and I picked it up next time I was in the store; have you been back? Did you just assume it would be posted? If yes, are you (Aushiker) out of order in posting a negative comment?
